Matt Bestland

Born and raised on a grain farm outside of Brunkild, Matt graduated from Sanford Collegiate in 1986 and obtained his Airline Transport Pilot Licence in 1993. This experience led to piloting crop spraying, forestry and fire suppression aircraft.

As one of the few (SEAT) endorsed pilots in Canada, Matt continues to fly on these projects in addition to managing Bestland Agro. Matt resides in Brunkild with his wife Anita and three children.

Connie Siemens

Born and raised on a grain farm near Sanford Manitoba, Connie and her husband reside and farm near Sanford with their two daughters. Connie has been with Bestland Agro since 2002.

Benji MacLean

Born and raised on a grain farm near Sperling Manitoba, Benji graduated from Carman Collegiate in 1997 and from the University of Manitoba (Agriculture) in 2002.

Benji has been involved in the agriculture industry since 1997 as a grain merchant and crop inputs manager. Benji joined the Bestland team in 2003.

Paul Kaminsky

Born and raised on a grain farm outside of Brunkild, Paul graduated from Sanford Collegiate in 2002 and the University of Manitoba (Agriculture) in 2006.

Paul has worked in crop inputs and most recently specialized in canola merchandising with Associated Proteins. Paul farms and resides on the family farm outside of Brunkild. Paul joined the Bestland team in 2009.

Tim LeClair

Application Specialist

Born and raised on a grain farm outside of Brunkild, Tim graduated from the University of Manitoba (Agriculture) in 1997.

Tim has extensive experience as a custom applicator with 17 years of spraying. Tim resides just outside of Brunkild with his wife and two children. Tim joined the Bestland team in 2006.

Russell Grabowski

Transport Specialist

Born and raised in Brunkild, Russell has extensive experience operating highway trucks, hauling dangerous goods, operating farm equipment and diesel maintenance. Russell maintains most equipment including, fertilizer plants,highway trucks, trailers etc.

Russell lives in Brunkild with his wife and daughter. Russell boasts that he is the all time leading scorer of the Starbuck Black Sheep men's hockey club! Russell joined the Bestland team in 2004.
